Widcombe house prices, street by street
What homes in Widcombe and Lyncombe have actually sold for, from Widcombe Parade to Lyncombe Hill and Widcombe Hill: real sold prices from HM Land Registry.

How Widcombe prices have moved
Each dot is a sale, houses and flats. The orange line is the median of the six months before it. Widcombe is a small market, so the line moves a lot with the mix of homes that sold.

Small, tight and hard to buy into
Only 60 homes sold here in nearly two years. Widcombe owners tend to stay, which is why the market is so tight: on 20 October more than half of the homes listed in Widcombe were already under offer, and no seller had cut their price in a fortnight.
The spread is wide. Terraced houses sold for a median of £625,000, while the big houses on Lyncombe Hill and Macaulay Buildings, with their views across the city, sell for £1,500,000 and more.
The honest caveat: with so few sales, one or two big houses move the median a long way. For a real figure on your home, we look at the sales on your street and the ones like it nearby.
